Richard Dulong, NCSO
With a diploma earned in hotel/restaurant management while studying sociology, Richard brings a unique perspective to safety. He is a National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) and has nearly completed his OH&S certificate from the University of Alberta, Faculty of Extension.
Richard has experience in several areas of commercial and industrial construction, manufacturing, warehouse, and hospitality industries. His work as a Product Specialist at an industrial safety supply company augments his skills in applying practical and cost-effective solutions to complex safety scenerios. Since joining SafeTech, Richard has represented several prime contractors in the industrial and commercial industries, and has taken field-staff assignments in both sectors, including the 2012 EIA expansion project and the Jackfish II SAG-D construction project.
Richard has conducted large and small audits. He has assembled and has managed audit teams as well as mentored junior auditors.
Richard is highly active in the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering (CSSE), sits on the Edmonton NAOSH Committee, and plans to write his CRSP in the fall of 2010.
