Brenda Madley, CRSP

Senior Safety Advisor, Program Development & Maintenance

 

Brenda is a Certified Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) and Construction Safety Officer (CSO) with over 8 years of industrial construction safety management experience.    

Brenda was the lead EHS Delivery Technologist for the Design and Construction department of Dow Chemical Canada’s Fort Saskatchewan and Prentiss plant sites.  Here she coordinated, implemented, and executed safety program management initiatives for both construction contractors and staff with the goal of maintaining a proactive design and construction-specific program.

As a representative of the design and construction department, Brenda participated in the “Improve Contractor Safety Performance” six sigma project, which won the Dow President’s award in 2005.  Brenda was also charged with developing the training modules for the new Alberta OHS code implementation for site-wide execution.

Brenda co-chaired the Dow Construction Contractor Safety Association and was a member of the Design and Construction responsible care team. 

Brenda’s ability to effectively manage safety initiatives with the workers, contractor management, and owner management, combined with strong communication skills, helped to produce world class safety results.

  • Facilitating root cause investigations for incidents and near misses
